This week we took The Great Business Debate stand to the Liberal Democrat party conference in Glasgow to talk to delegates and ask them to note their views on our wall. The questions we asked were:
- What should the purpose of business be?
- What can business do better to serve its customers?
- How can business best support the next generation into work?
- How can business make sure the growing economy benefits everyone?
Business Secretary Vince Cable dropped in and called for transparent payment of tax from companies. Other guest included Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander and Airbus UK head, Paul Kahn. Pictures of visitors and all comments we collected from delegates can be seen on our Flickr page.
