The Great Business Debate is about tackling the issues that impact on the public’s confidence in business head on. We want to encourage conversation about what business does and where it can do better.
Making sure that business is diverse and inclusive is essential if we are to build public confidence in business. Businesses rely on their people for success, but they won’t have the full confidence of their employees or their customers unless both feel they are represented in the makeup of the business community and that their views are being heard.
It’s about ensuring fair opportunities for everyone, but it’s also about making sure that businesses are drawing on a wide range of skills and talent and well equipped to succeed.
Over the coming weeks we want to highlight the progress that has been made, but also talk about what more business can do to make sure that workplaces are diverse and inclusive.
