In my design of a new economic operating system, taxation of shareholders’ dividends would be zero. Corporation tax would be 20% or related to the ratio of hourly rate of pay between the highest paid; the CEO and the hourly rate of pay of the lowest paid, e.g. the office cleaner. If the ratio was 8 to 1, then Corporation Tax would be 8%. Businesses would be creators and distributors of wealth thus reducing the need for excessive government bureaucracies for redistributing wealth through benefit payments etc.
